Proposed part-time position within Task Health’s Nurses’ Registry
This page explains the responsibilities, qualifications, employment terms and licensing requirements for the position. Task Health is preparing its New Jersey Nurses’ Registry application.
The one-time payment is due after both the individual employment-agent license and Task Health’s Nurses’ Registry license are completed.
Task Health plans to arrange RN visits for New Jersey home care agencies through a Nurses’ Registry. The proposed division of responsibilities is outlined below.
In New Jersey, it is a business that arranges or supplies nursing personnel and receives a fee for that service. It is licensed through the employment-agency framework.
Task Health serves home care agencies. In New Jersey, the agencies we plan to work with are registered as Health Care Service Firms (HCSFs). HCSF is the regulatory term you’ll see in the rules for these agencies.
The home care agency using Task Health’s RN services assigns the visit and retains its own clinical leadership and responsibility for the patient’s ongoing care.
The home care agency decides which patient needs a visit, defines its purpose and required timeframe, then sends the assignment to Task Health.
Home care agency responsibility — not Task Health’s. The home care agency’s own team makes these assignment decisions.
We coordinate the RN visit and scheduling. Our RN records the findings and submits the documentation to the agency’s clinical authority.
The home care agency’s own authorized clinician evaluates the findings, makes care-planning decisions, and approves and signs the record. Our platform requires that approval before finalizing and sealing it.
Home care agency responsibility — not Task Health’s. The home care agency’s clinician makes these care-planning and final-approval decisions.
Steps 1 and 3 are performed by the home care agency, not by Task Health’s registry supervisor. The home care agency retains its patient-care supervision. Your proposed position is within Task Health’s registry. The home-placement rules that also need to be addressed are explained below.
The position is the health care practitioner supervisor described in N.J.A.C. 13:45B-14.3. The supervisor assists Task Health in establishing the clinical practices and procedures required for its registry. The proposed allocation of supervisory and administrative work is set out below.
For home-care placements, § 14.9(c)–(g) includes supervisor inquiries and recorded responses at least every 30 days, reassessment when indicated, and an on-site evaluation at least every 60 days during the periods described in the rule. Task Health still needs to resolve how these duties will be fulfilled in its agency-to-agency model. Home care agency approval of a visit does not itself establish an exemption.
These responsibilities, availability and the resulting workload must be settled before appointment. The five-hour estimate is not a limit on required duties.
A candidate must have current authority to practice in New Jersey, good standing, and experience meeting one of the regulatory pathways below.
A registered nurse in good standing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and two years of the combined public-health nursing experience and progressive responsibilities specified in the rule.
A registered nurse in good standing with three years of that combined experience and progressive responsibility. This pathway does not expressly require a BSN.
Education, work history and actual responsibilities will be reviewed; years holding an RN license alone do not establish this experience. The regulation also has a New Jersey physician pathway; this position is directed to RNs. We have not identified a separate clinical-supervisor examination in these provisions.
The Nurses’ Registry’s clinical supervisor must also hold an employment-agent license under N.J.A.C. 13:45B-14.3(c). Task Health will assist with application coordination and preparation.
The agent application has its own experience and reference requirements. Its exam covers the law, regulations and knowledge of the employment field.
N.J.A.C. 13:45B-2.6N.J.A.C. 13:45B-4.1Under § 2.6(a)–(b), the applicant and employing-agency affidavits must document both experience requirements:
Roles that may include relevant experience
What matters is your actual work recruiting, matching or placing nursing staff. A job title alone does not establish eligibility.
The pre-examination submission also includes:
We’ll assess how your actual experience meets these requirements. Nursing experience does not automatically establish the separate personnel-work requirement.
The rule requires written questions but leaves the format, time and place to DCA. We’ll confirm the current arrangements before scheduling; remote testing and an approval timeline have not been confirmed. Read § 4.1
Review the role, background, availability and questions with Omer.
Check both sets of qualifications and agree on the duties and required support.
Coordinate the application documents and required examination with our team.
Finalize employment terms and the appointment once the required approvals are in place.

Useful context for the home care agencies’ clinical operations. This document is advisory guidance for those agencies; it is not a substitute for the binding Nurses’ Registry rules.
Section links above open Cornell Legal Information Institute’s reproduction of the New Jersey Administrative Code. DCA administers licensing; final application requirements and the proposed scope must be confirmed before appointment.
No. We’re happy to speak with an RN who does not yet hold one. You would need to qualify for and obtain it before serving in the registry’s dual-credential role. Our team will help with administrative coordination and preparation. § 14.3(c)
Our proposed position is with Task Health. Each home care agency retains its own clinical leadership and patient-care responsibilities. We will review the registry’s applicable home-placement duties with you before appointment; see the scope explanation.
The proposed workflow puts staffing coordination and document routing with our team and platform, and final patient-care review with the home care agency. Your involvement focuses on the agreed clinical-supervisory duties and escalations. Your required professional judgment remains yours to exercise.
Five hours per month is our initial estimate. Additional hours and pay would be agreed if needed. We have not promised a fully remote role: availability and any required on-site responsibilities must be resolved as part of the final scope.
The proposed one-time payment is tied to completion of both your employment-agent licensing and Task Health’s Nurses’ Registry licensing. It is separate from the proposed $500 monthly W-2 compensation. The written offer will record the payment terms.
We are preparing the New Jersey expansion and pursuing that licensing route. This page describes a proposed opportunity. Appointment and start timing depend on the required qualifications, licensing and agreed scope.
